When choosing real estate in Mersin, you should take into account the peculiarities of the areas.

For example, Akdeniz is an industrial area, most likely it will not be attractive for buying real estate. Industrial enterprises, an oil refinery, and a port are concentrated here.

Yenishehir District

Yenishehir is located in the heart of the city of Mersin and includes 32 micro-districts. A distinctive feature is the developed urban infrastructure: large shopping centers (Forum, Sayapark, Mersin Marina), parks, medical centers and clinics, restaurants and cafes, furniture and equipment stores. Yenişehir is in high demand because private and public schools, the University of Mersin are located here.

There is no beach in Yenishehir, but this "shortcoming" is more than compensated by a chic embankment with bike paths, gazebos for recreation and sports grounds for the townspeople.

Yenishehir will definitely appeal to those who want to live in the rhythm of the city and have almost round-the-clock access to all popular locations. The nearest equipped beach is located in the Mezitli area.

Mezitli District

Mezitli borders on the Yenishehir region and consists of 40 micro-districts. This is a large and developed area with a population of about 220 thousand people.

The ruins of the ancient city of Soli Pompeiopolis are located in the Viransehir microdistrict, next to the municipal sandy beach and a park with barbecue pavilions. There is a fairly dense development, mostly complexes with minimal or no internal infrastructure.

The nearby Merkez neighborhood houses the Soli Center shopping mall, and the Akdeniz neighborhood is famous for its Soli Sahili beach. By the way, in different sources, this location is called "Salt area". The city center is only 15 minutes by car.

Perhaps the most popular microdistrict among Russian-speaking residents is Teje, which has been actively built up and developed in recent years. If you want to buy real estate in Mersin near the sea, you should pay attention to Tej. Our catalog contains apartments from developers in Tej, most of the complexes are being built near the beach and have a hotel infrastructure.

Erdemli District

The administrative center of the district is the city of Erdemli. Erdemli district is located from the city of Mersin at a distance of 35 km., It consists of 71 microdistricts. Of the popular among foreign residents, it is worth noting: Cheshmeli, Tomyuk, Arpachbakhshish, Kyzkalesi, Ayash.
